BASMA for Culture and Arts presents a marionette puppet play for children.
As part of the project "Promoting Gaza children's well- being and creativity through psychodrama of marionette and puppet" which is supported by the German Agency for International Cooperation (giz) and is funded by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs, BASMA has produced a captivating marionette theater play titled "Bembem, Not Afraid" for the Children. With the project underway, nine out of the fifteen planned performances have already been successfully executed.
The premiere show of "Bembem, Not Afraid" took place at the BASMA Open-Air Theater, situated within the historic Al-Wahidi House, and was attended by an enthusiastic audience of children, parents, and representatives from the German Agency for International Cooperation. This remarkable production, marking BASMA successful in working for the first time in the marionette puppet theater, signifies a significant addition to BASMA artistic endeavors.
