Basma Society for Culture and Arts begins implementing drama course sessions for children for the seventh batch
Basma Society for Culture and Arts has started implementing drama courses for children for the seventh and final batch of children's groups. This comes as part of the activities of the project "Enhancing the well-being and creativity of Gaza's children through the psychological drama of puppets and theater arts" with the support of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the funding of the German Foreign Ministry office.
Where coordination was made with 4 non-governmental organizations in Gaza over the past two months, starting from April 2023, to attract groups of children of both sexes.
As planned, groups of children will be targeted in marginalized areas in Gaza, and in coordination with 4 NGOs in Gaza, to attract groups of children of both sexes, two groups for each institution.
Later, the second festival will be organized under the title "The Second Gaza Drama Festival for Children" at the end of this month, in which the outputs of the last four batches of the drama course will be presented, and the best 6 plays written and directed by children that were worked on during the implementation period of the sessions will be presented.
It is worth mentioning that the "First Children's Drama Festival" was organized on the 18th of last January, which included the best eight theatrical performances presented by 23 groups of children from the first three batches. This is from the start of the project in July 2022 until January 2023
