Raising awareness and build the political capacity of youth in Gaza Strip.
The following were implemented:
- A study was made on the reality of Palestinian youth to identify the best ways to approach areas that have shown low levels of voter registration and elections for past years.
- Selecting of 25 young people to participate in a training on "Elections and Human Rights, Dialogue and leadership skills, theater skills".
- Selecting of 10 young people who received training on “Elections and Human Rights, Dialogue and Leadership Skills” so they can transfer their experience to their fellow students and university graduates.
- Implementation of 75 educational workshops about "Elections and Human Rights" in all governorates of Gaza Strip.
- Implementation 5 training courses about "Elections and Human Rights" in all governorates of Gaza Strip.
- Implementing a public awareness campaign on the political participation targeting youth, based on the results of the study conducted in the framework of the study and includes the following:
- Broadcast 5 radio episodes on Al-Quds Radio.
- Publish 9 Billboard boards. (5 in Gaza city_ 4 in other governorates) for 3 months.
- Publishing 2000 posters in the training halls distributed to Partner institutions.
- Distributing of 5,000 brochures on project activities.
- A social media event.
- Drawing murals in Gaza Strip governorates.
- Implementing the Palestinian Youth Network Conference PYN.
- Selecting five representatives from those who received training on theater skills, and training them on a theater text highlighting the issue of limiting the political participation of the youth of Gaza strip, then presenting 30 theater performances followed by workshop for each performance.
- 10 training meetings for young leaders who affiliated to youth groups.
